CULTIVATING PEACE

Everyone that I have spoken to in recent times, has had an awfully difficult 2008. Loss, separation, upheavals, illness... (you name it), have been experienced en masse. We can eternally ask "why", but the more productive question would be: "what can we do to change it?"

It seems an impossible task at first glance, doesn't it? But the message in the image "cultivate PEACE" virtually says it all . We have been programmed through lifetime upon lifetime to expect and experience dramatic events. Our collective consciousness is one of DOOM. We haven't been trained to believe that we can learn our lessons under peaceful circumstances... that being hit with a sledgehammer isn't the only way to happiness and enlightenment. We have a negative anticipation of life and this expectation is fulfilled in every painful event that we encounter (create).

This year, let's cultivate peace. The solution is simple and has been uttered before...start with yourself and watch the ripples go out to all around you.

Don't underestimate the power of a good example...

Recently, I have been engaging in clearing my house and the centre of clutter...things that accumulte when you aren't feeling right inside. I did it with such love and satisfaction, that I couldn't help but share my excitement with friends and family. Lo and behold, I am receiving reports of them following suit, and clearing their own places.

Imagine what an example you will be when you conquer self love and attain inner peace.

Step out of your mind and into your heart, and there you will find all that you need to live a wondrous life.

Begin somewhere, anywhere and move forward.

My aim is to assist you when you feel stuck in your unhappiness.

RETURN TO INNOCENCE

LOVE IS THE ANSWER

Have you ever asked any of the following questions?...

Why can't I ever get what I want?

Why am I always having conflicts?

Why am I so unhappy?

Why does everything go wrong?

Why can't I find a good partner?

...and so forth.

The missing link to your happiness is "LOVE".

When your heart is closed, no love of any kind can work its way in.

"But I'm a loving person, I'm very giving", I hear you say, which may well be true, but my question to you is:

Are you able to receive love?

Giving is the easy part!!

Do you allow others to be kind and loving to you?

Can you accept compliments, for example, or do you negate positive things people say about you?

Is "I'll be ok" your mantra when people offer their help?

These are but two examples of a closed heart...a heart that is unable to receive love...a heart so depleted from too much giving and too little receiving, that it never feels replenished!!

Open your hearts to receiving, this year, and watch your life turn around. People will come out of the woodwork with offers of love in the form of gifts, compliments and assistance...you will feel so loved... and isn't that just what we have all been searching for?
